Lowering the cost of energy for working families is a top priority for Maxine. Maxine Dibert is the only Fairbanks or interior legislator on the House Resources Committee, which oversees all energy-related legislation.
Maxine is proud of her record supporting responsible oil and gas development and the deployment of new renewable energy sources. Maxine believes in an “all of the above” solution to our energy crisis.
Fairbanks Economy
Maxine Dibert is running to deliver for regular people and Fairbanks working families. With inflation rising, Maxine will fight for statewide initiatives to keep down local property taxes. Maxine will continue to fight for sensible, responsible resource development and local jobs. Maxine will fight to expand access to quality and affordable healthcare. And Maxine will do everything she can to support businesses and development that bring jobs and prosperity to Fairbanks.
Public Education Champion
As a public school teacher in Fairbanks for more than two decades, Maxine understands that our children are our future. Maxine believes that a strong public education system means a strong future for Fairbanks.
She knows we must fund education, keep class sizes down, prevent school closures in our community, get students the one-on-one attention they deserve, and ensure students are learning the practical and technical skills they need to be successful in the world.
